Deacon Formation

NOTE: To support Bishop Lohse's goal of ordaining 8 to 10 permanent deacons every 3 years, the number of candidates accepted into the inquiry phase will be limited to no more than16 men during each 3-year cycle. Those who are not accepted into the inquiry phase for one cohort may be encouraged to reapply in the future.

It is anticipated that the next time applications will be opened for the inquiry phase will be Summer/Fall 2028.
